Most recently served as the Third District Representative with direct responsibility of governance over all 40 chapters of Omega within the District of Columbia and the Common Wealth of Virginia.

International Level Experience:
  • Second Vice Grand Basileus (1994–1996)
    • Developed the concept of The National Undergraduate Summit.
    • Responsible for Undergraduates paying reduced initiation fees.
  • He understands that we must foster the growth and existence of undergraduates.
  • Served on the Committee to Elect Grand Basileus Lloyd Jordan, Esq.
  • Served on Two National Committees dealing with Undergraduate Concerns
  • Served on the International Business & Economic Summit Committee (2004)
  • Former member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s Supreme Council (as an undergraduate and graduate Brother)
Recent Accomplishments
Over the past few years he has..….
  • Been a voice of reason on the Supreme Council. (Encourage you to review his record/performance from past Supreme Council Minutes)
  • Approved and conducted initiations
  • Performed the entire Memorial Services from memory
  • Been the keynote speaker for various chapter Scholarship or Achievement Week programs.
  • Led the effort to grow the Third District to well over 1300+ Financial Brothers. Thus, maintaining the status as a District that can retain as well as attract new candidates.
  • Raised the awareness of Cancer & HIV/AIDS in the African-American community. All undergraduate chapters were required to conduct programs on HIV/AIDS Awareness and all graduate chapters conducted programs on Cancer Awareness. The culminating activity consisted of a panel discussion with leading professionals in the field of HIV/AIDS. The event was held at the Luke C. Moore Academy High School in Washington, DC. Over 250 students were in attendance. The entire program was videotaped and aired on the Washington, DC Cable Channel.
  • Joined forces with the Congressional Black Caucus to plan, organize, and conduct an issue forum for Congressman Hank Johnson who represents Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District.
  • Planned, organized, and hosted a reception for our Omega Men in Congress of which the following were in attendance: Congressman and Majority Whip James Clyburn, Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., and Congressman Hank Johnson.
  • Hosted the September 2008 Supreme Council Meeting in Washington, DC.
  • When the gun laws changed in the District of Columbia, he worked with Brother/Councilman Harry Thomas, Jr. and other members of the City Council of Washington, DC to conduct a “RAC” Gunlock Giveaway which was aimed at promoting gun safety. This giveaway was conducted under the “Omega Saves Our Children’s Lives Campaign”. This event was promoted by a joint press conference on the steps of city hall where Brother Jackson spoke on behalf of the Fraternity, and Brother Thomas spoke on behalf of the District of Columbia government.
  • Helped to raised approximately $12K in donations for Congressman/Brother Kendrick Meek’s bid to be the next Senator from Florida.
  • Led the effort to be the first in the nation to kick-off the “Omega Stop Violence Campaign” which was conducted on the campus of Howard University and spearheaded by Alpha Chapter.
  • Feverishly encouraged/incentivized chapters to conduct voter registrations drives across the entire District which ultimately helped this nation to elect the First African American President….President Barack Obama.
  • Worked with the neighboring Brothers in the Second District to co-host an Omega’s For Obama Ball (which he says will all always be one of his most cherished moments as District Representative.
